Should I book this flight now?
I want to get a flight from San Diego to New York for Thanksgiving which is a horrible time to travel and big cities to travel to/from. I have specific days I'm looking at and times I would prefer. I also would like to go from my closest airport to the closest airport to my destination and I want to go nonstop because its a long trip and I think an extra hour or two will drag me down more. I searched on wednesday and found good prices but then Thursday it went up and I was wondering since I want the flight should I just buy it now or wait until the beginning of next week to check the prices? What is the likelihood of it going down during the beginning of the week?

With regards to peak seasons such as Thanksgiving, booking as soon as possible is the only choice. If you are not flexible about your travel dates, that is a second reason to hurry up.
