If i have songs dowloaded "ilegally" and i am going on an international flight will they check my songs

If i have songs dowloaded "ilegally" and i am going on an international flight will they check my songs?
So hello, so my question is if i have songs not bought from itunes or as its called "ilegal songs" will they check my ipod?? i am going on an international flight from san diego to france, can you please answer if you really know, thanks. Will pick best answer =)

Yes, the RIAA has people at the security checkpoints that scan any electronic device that can hold music files. NOT. No one is going to check your Ipod

No if they did that then it would take a whole lot longer to get to your destnashion.

No. I've been on over 15 international business trips. I've taken my ipod 95% of the time- they've never checked it before.

No, it is not likely that they will check it but they have the right to. I do know of one person who had their IPOD taken away when travelling by land from Canada to the USA. I do not know what the rules are in France but the laws in the USA will allow them to take it away. The thing is, they have to be able to prove they are illegal. Unless they can prove that you don't own a legal copy of each song, you should be fine. (the person I know had a movie that was not out on DVD on their ipod, it make it pretty easy for them to know it was illegal)
