San Diego To Seattle. Cheapest ticket

San Diego To Seattle. Cheapest ticket?
I will be traveling to Seattle, WA from San Diego, CA on August 9-15 I would prefer nonstop flight and roundtrip. I've looked on the sites that I know of, ex- alaskaair, delta, southwest, jetblue. etc etc but their prices are wayy too high. im on a low budget here.. haha. looking for a flight around 200-300.. no more than 370$$ including tax and all that. OH and is it really true that if you purchase a ticket on a Tuesday, it's WAYYYY cheaper? 10points for someone who can get me the CHEAPEST airline ticket for a nonstop flight to San Diego- Seattle AUGUST 9-AUGUST 15. thanks guys!

Southwest is usually the cheapest out there. They have a tool on their online booking site that will let you know which days are cheaper. You do need to book 14 days in advance usually to get the cheapest rates.

I'm actually been looking at booking a ticket from cali to alaska recently and it's been my experince that booking on days like tuesday and wed and choosing economic cabin + ''red eye'' flights (early early morning and overnight flights) it's much less expensive. i've had my best luck with cheaptickets.com and expedia.com. good luck!
3 :
try expedia.com you need to book your flight a month early to get that rate. Now you'll have to fly red eye or stand by. yes, Tues and wed are cheapest.
4 :
Do a search on Kayak engine. It will check all the airlines and all the major travel sites and return the lowest price. All with one click of the mouse. http://www.socalthemeparks.com/cheap-flights.html

Unfortunately all I'm finding is the $400-$500 range. My buddy and his wife just flew up from San Diego the last week of July and we booked their tickets in May and it cost $420 each on Virgin America. It's summer time though, so airline prices get a little higher. And yes flying out on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday is almost always cheaper. Also the time of the year will affect the price as well. Sorry I couldn't help, looks like you'll have to spend a little more than you want though.

The issue would be your request for a non-stop which limits some of the better fare options such as US Airways which has fares with connecting flights as low as $79 one way! One airline to check however for cheap nonstops would be Virgin America. Good Luck!

Where can I find $300 round-trip flights from Boston to San Diego

Where can I find $300 round-trip flights from Boston to San Diego?
I've been trying for a while now to try and get a $300 flight to San Diego from Boston. I found one on JetBlue.com, but it's only oneway. Does anyone know where I can find a $300 or lower flight to San Diego from Boston that is the same price both ways???? If I do go, I will be leaving on 417, and returning on 4/24. I'm in desperate need of help. Can someone please please help me???????!?!?!?!?!????? I would really appriciate it. Thanks. Thank you sooo much! Do you know if they allow unaccompanied minors to fly? I was unable to find the search that you did for me. Could you help me find it? Thanks.

kayak is the best. it compares airlines to airlines here, i did the search for you, but i think they dont have any flights for less than $371 :( http://www.kayak.com/r/ToDpfm
2 :
try this website to see if they have something that will work for you; www.everydaytravelconnections.com
3 :
See how much flights are on Virgin America. If you don't buy your tickets by 4/3, the price goes up a lot. This applies to every airline so you have to buy a ticket within the next few days.

How early should I arrive at an airport for a Southwest flight

How early should I arrive at an airport for a Southwest flight?
I will be attending UCSD for college, and I'm going to book my flight from San Diego to San Francisco. I only have 2 hours and 15 mins in between my last final exam to when the plane takes off. I need to know how early I should arrive at the airport so that I can plan the time I need to spend on the road to get to the SD airport. Your answers are greatly appreciated! Thanks

2-3hrs. 1:45 the earliest
2 :
Two hours before the flight is what is recommended for a domestic flight. If you check in online, you could get away with arriving later, but at least an hour or more before your flight to be safe. http://www.southwest.com/flight/retrieveCheckinDoc.html
3 :
2 hours sometime the lines for southwest take a hour just to get TO secuirty-not THOUGH just to get up tp Security... you better book a later flight
4 :
You should arrive at least 2 hours before your flight departs because you never know how long the line in security will be. Also if you don't check-in online, you will have to wait to check-in at the kiosk and drop off any checked luggage. Also you do not know how traffic will be that day. Also know that gates can close 20-30 minutes before the flight departs so you really have less than 2 hours. I suggest you either think about rescheduling your flight or study really hard so you can finish your exam early and get to the airport as fast as you can.

It really depends on the time of the year (holidays and such) and time of the day. I personally usually get there about hour and a half before hand with no problem (usually with 45 minutes to sit around and wait for boarding), even on a day that was really busy at the airport. But definitely leave cushion time especially if this is going to be your first flight. It'll make you less nervous! Also, finals are 3 months off. You have PLENTY of time to book your flight. P.S. Don't forget about UCSD's free holiday airport shuttle! Idk when your final is, but check out their schedule when it becomes available! (see link below)

San Diego: the flight is long

San Diego: the flight is long?
I live in Italy and from Genoa or Milan is too long to travel for that city?

That's a long flight, but not too long if you are a normal healthy person. If you've got knee or leg issues, take a ship!
2 :
That would be a very long flight probably more than 12 hours air time. If this isn't a problem then go ahead, but if 12 hours seems a little too long to do at once think about maybe staying somewhere for a day or two like New York to take a break from flying then fly again on to San Diego.
3 :
It is a long flight. However, there are no longer any flights between San Diego and Europe (British Airways stopped flying here after September 11th). So you will definitely have to stop somewhere in the Eastern US and change planes. Alitalia flies from Italy to several cities in the Eastern US - Boston, Chicago, Miami, Newark and New York (JFK). There are no non-stop flights from Miami to San Diego, and there are only two flights a day between Boston and San Diego. So the best places to stop would be Chicago, Newark or JFK. Also, several US airlines (Delta, Continental, and USAirways) fly between Milan and the East Coast.

You might have lay-overs, that will be the longest part of it. If your going to fly internationally. It is most likely going to be a long flight. But trust me, TOTALLY worth it. Just went a week ago, and miss it already. Just take some good books and read on the plane. Also knitting is fun, I read for the first flight- then read in the second. We had two lay-overs. One in chicago for 2 hours. That was bad. But it's worth it. Happy traveling!
