How to get the cheapest fare for a flight from San Diego to Maui Hawaii?
I want to fly out on a 3/1/2011 (Tuesday) and fly back 3/8/2011 (Tuesday). I am wondering who flys to Hawaii that would be generally the cheaper flights? I can look at orbitz, travelocity, expedia, etc. but are there better places to be checking? Thanks!

There are lots of websites for travel in the internet. All you have to do is to search it in the internet.

Those are the main sites to check. One thing you might try though is getting on the email lists of the main airlines that fly to Hawaii, and they'll have sales that come along periodically if you can wait to book, or they might have some percentage off coupons drifting around too.

Aloha! Congratulations on your upcoming trip to Maui!! I'm a travel agent and will say if you can package air/hotel or air/car together you'll always get a better deal - (there are more tricks too but this is the general idea) but without that this is what I found: I found flight on Alaska Air for about $540 per person - they seemed to give the best deal from San Diego right now Let me know if you need any more help - I LOVE hawaii!

Kayak.com usually compares the rates of a few airlines against each other. Expedia and Orbitz are always pretty good for comparison shopping also.
