Are there any US Domestic routes that fly a 777 or 747?
I know it wouldn't make much sence but i'm wondering if there are any current USA domestic routes that utilize a 747 or 777? And i would also say are there any that aren't a continuation of an international flight (There used to be a London-Pheonix-San Diego flight of a 747 years ago), i'm talking a start domestic route.

Yes american goes from honolulu to dallas on their 777's

Out of Chicago Ohare any route from Chicago to Denver/Los Angeles/San Francisco/ or Seattle would be a 777 and anything to South America is a 777 or 747....

AAL66 from DFW to ORD is a B777....it continues onto London Heathrow through. Most all domestic flights involving the two types of aircraft are linked to an international flight. Whether it's the start of it, or a continuation of it, it's more than likely going to be used to serve an international destination.

Delta has a flight that's ATL-JFK (I think it's DL 16), and back. It's really ATL-JFK-BOM (Mumbai), but I'm flying from ATL-NYC this summer, and I'm taking the ATL-JFK leg (at first, I had no idea it didn't just go right back to ATL). It's on a 777-232. I'm pretty sure that Delta also has several completely domestic flights (don't continue to international destinations) on 767-400ERs.

Yes. Here are some routes- United 777 service: DEN-IAD DEN-ORD DEN-HNL SFO-HNL ORD-HNL LAX-DEN ...and yes, DL does ATL-JFK in a 777-200 as mentioned http://flightaware.com/live/flight/DAL16 Usually, such aircraft continue on to an international destination after their domestic stop. As far as 747 passenger service, that is long gone. Most 747s that have US domestic origins and destinations are cargo. This QANTAS flight goes LAX-HNL http://flightaware.com/live/flight/QFA7558 , however you can't buy a ticket on a foreign airline to travel domestic. For pax on this QANTAS flight, Honolulu is simply a stop over enroute down under to pick up more passengers.

777- atlanta to jfk on delta 777- o hare to denver on united 777- dfw to hawaii 747- lax to jfk forget which airline!!

Cost for one person to go to San Diego Comic Con 2010
Cost for one person to go to San Diego Comic Con 2010?
Would anyone be able to give me a rough estimate on how much it would cost for the entire trip to the San Diego Comic Con, including a flight from Buffalo and back, hotel for 4 nights, food, etc. I've been told it can cost at least $5k. Thanks

If you do your homework and use something like Priceline or Orbitz, you can reduce costs greatly. The key is that flight from Buffalo to San Diego, but I am thinking closer to $2K than $5K I will use the LA AX as an example. OK, we drove as we were close enough, but I was able to nail a great hotel for about $100/night for three people and we spend about $50/day on food for all of us. Plus the event tickets. Now, we didn;t buy that much stuff while we were there, so I do not know how 'otaku' you could be on this aspect, but that is why you have to do your homework now to lock in some good rates

Yes, the Super 8 Motel (Bayview) that is located at 1835 Columbia St. in the Little Italy section of San Diego has a shuttle van that will pick you up at the Airport and they will also arrange to take you to the SD Zoo. You will need to reserve their Van the afternoon before going to the Zoo the next morning. I have stayed at this Super 8 at least 6 times in past 4 years and I've always been pleased with the accommodations and their shuttle service. Very convenient location that's only 2.5 miles from the Airport, 3 miles to the Zoo and an easy 1 mile walk to the Harbor area plus just a 1/2 mile walk to the nearby Light Rail (trolley) that will take you either East to several (2) excellent shopping Malls or into the downtown areas. You would be just 1 block from 5-6 very good Italian restaurants and nice shops in this unique Little Italy section of San Diego. PS: Their toll free No. is: 1-800-537-9902 for reseravations or to ask about their shuttle van service.

What are good fares with Northwest Airlines (NWA) from San Diego
What are good fares with Northwest Airlines (NWA) from San Diego?
I have a $350 voucher with Northwest Airlines and I live in San Diego. (cancelled ticket) All the fares I've looked at seem very expensive (almost $700 for Mexico city!) What are typical flights operated by Northwest where I could use my voucher? (I don't mind adding money, but I don't want to book a super expensive flight with them just because I have a voucher...) Thanks! The cancelled ticket was $450, so it's a $350 voucher

NWA has US hubs in Minneapolis/St. Paul MN (MSP), Detroit MI (DTW), and Memphis TN (MEM) which explains why you are not finding any cheap fares from SAN to MEX since you would have to connect through one of these distant hubs in order to get there so this a market in which NWA has chosen not to compete. You can use your voucher to travel anywhere NWA flies. Currently NWA has prety good fares to the md-west and east coast from SAN. The best way to check fares is to go on to NWA.com and shop around. Keep in mind, however, that you will be charged a fee, usually $100 on NWA, to use the voucher so in reality it's net worth is actually $250.
