Where can I find $300 flights to San Diego?
I'm going to visit my sister in San Diego for a week. I am 12 years old and my 8-year-old brother is coming with me. If we do go, we will have to leave on 4/17/10, and return on 4/24/10. I am unable to find $300 tickets that have flights that leave on that date. Can anyone help me? I'm really sorry. I'm coming from Hartford Connecticut. [Bradley INTL Airport]

Well, since you do not state where you are leaving from, there is not much that anyone can do for you. Look on the sites for Southwest and Jetblue. You have probably left it too late to get a good price.

Help us help you with your question you fail to say where you are coming from that makes your question impossible to answer since we don't know where you are coming from and we cant contact via email because you don't allow it, so would please (pretty please edit your question and tell us where you are starting from... else we can only guess./suggested some idea you might want to try southwest as they tend to have lowest fare but if you are coming from Lax then that wont be option (see what i mean?)

I would check out JetBlue or American flying out of JFK in New York City. You can also see if JetBlue has anything out of Boston as well. Southwest is another option though you may have to make a couple of connections.

See if American, United, Delta or Continental Airlines has anything. American has a lot of flights to San Juan but I don't know if it would be under $500.

Well, it depends entirely on which days your leaving and returning. Try Bing Travel, as it is very good at searching flight and travel deals. I searched from SJU to SAN on dates 8/12 to 8/25, and the price begins at around $477. SJU to LAX on those same dates has prices starting at $360. Why are flights from San Diego/LAX to Nashville so expensive?
I was looking at flights from SD/LA to Nashville and I'm getting results of over $600 round trip! Southwest has flights of $400 one way!! I can fly to Europe for less than I can fly domestically within the US. Is there simply little demand for SD/LA to Nashville flights?

There can be multiple reasons why it is so expensive. Are you flying out during the summer months? Summer travel usually has higher ticket prices because lots of people tend to travel since school is out. Also if you do not buy your ticket at least 14 days before you travel, sometimes the price goes up a lot. See if http://www.priceline.com has anything.

LOL... Im going to San Diego!!!!!!!! I went to SD in June. and the flight was 3 hours and 43 mins.
